Name: Cristiana Camacho
School and/or Occupation: Cal State Fullerton studying Human Services. I also work at Cal State Fullerton as a receptionist in the Child and Adolescent Studies Department.
Favorite Bible passage or verse: Psalm 139:13-16
Favorite book (other than the Bible): Perks of Being a Wallflower. Partly because it's an amazing book, and partly because I hate reading and it's one of the very few books I've actually read all the way through and enjoyed.
Favorite place: The beach. I don't travel...Until now I suppose :p
3 words to describe myself: Sarcastic, Compassionate, Tiny
Most embarrassing moment: I'd rather the internet not have a hold of that...
Something on my bucket list: I actually don't have a bucket list, but I think it would be really cool to go skydiving!
Random fact about me: I love movies, probably more than a healthy amount. I can watch a whole entire movie beginning to end and then re-watch it right after. It's bad. Also, I am addicted to juice and goldfish. Specifically strawberry lemonade.
What I am looking forward to most about South Korea: Working with some kids in the orphanage. I have a huge heart for children without families and am going to school to be an adoption counselor, so I'm super excited to meet the kids and just love on them.
What I would like to gain from this mission trip: In all honesty, a broken heart. I want my heart to break for what breaks God's heart and for it to break for the lost so much that my only reaction is to tell them about the love of God and to display it to them.
Areas in my walking I am hoping to strengthen: The strength the Lord has promised to provide me, and all His children with. To trust that in the midst of fear, He "will uphold me with His righteous right hand" (Isa 41:10) and guide me regardless of my own shortcomings so that He will be able to have the glory. I want to be able to be completely grounded in His strength to push through any fear or doubt.
Finish this statement...If a genie granted you three wishes, my three wishes would be:
1. World peace! Haha no. To never have to pay the ridiculous cost of living in Orange County without having to leave Orange County -___-
2. I would like a puppy. A puppy that doesn't make me sneeze either. That would be nice.
3. My final wish would be to live in a house right next to the beach. But everyday has to be sunny. Not overcast and gloomy. (Is that two wishes...?)

Prayer requests:
- Pray that the Lord prepares us well in this time before Korea that everything in this time will be used in every aspect of what we will face in Korea and the plans He has for us and for them.
- Pray that the Lord gives us strength and the words to speak to bring glory to His name so we will not be speaking in our own flesh, but merely as vessels for Him to speak to His children.
- Pray that the Lord will provide for and during any physical needs that may arise while over there and it will not hinder the work He has set out over there.
