We are entering our second week here in South Korea, and every day one member from our team has the privilege to do devotion and write the blog and choose a #hashtag for that day. Today is my day. Tonight, I shared at devotion about needing to GO ALL IN this week. We might not see what God is doing, but just be faithful to little things that He giving us because those little things can make a difference in the kids lives and the people here in South Korea.
Acts 20:24 “But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God."
This morning we started off with a work out (BMB beat my body) with the college students from English Handong Discipleship School and Ryan Young lead the BMB. Afterwards, we met up with Professor Kenneth Chinn, and he gave us some history about the Handong International Law School where we works. I was amazed with the way he teaches his students, not only does he teach them the U.S. law, but he also he teaches them the word of God. I think that’s awesome and we need more people to be rooted in the word of God, especially for those studying the law.
Right Now, Handong International has summer school sessions going on and we had a chance to sit down and join of their morning devotion. It was cool because they doing their devotion right at HILS court room and we got to see new faces worshiping God this morning.
After devotion, we took a road trip to Busan, another city in South Korea. It was a 2 hour drive from Pohong. At Busan, we went to restaurant for lunch, I don’t know what it was called, but it was delicious. Then Chinn's took us to one of the most beautiful Buddhist Temples, built right in to the side of the mountain. It was an amazing scene!!! Yes! It’s raining here but we are Going All In!
This week we are starting our VBS and we are expecting 60 or more kids everyday. Pray for our health, energy, and everything to go well our writing team, craft team, English team, and games team.
Peace,
Angelito
